Page Speed Improvements ⚡️

We introduced two new initiatives to improve how the Sleeknote script loads on your website and impacts your page speed.

We’ve got several reports from our customers about Google PageSpeed Insights considering the Sleeknote script as a potential issue.

Although Sleeknote shouldn't affect your page speed negatively, we found the source of the problem to be a JavaScript method we’ve been using. To fix that, we stopped using the document.write() method to load our script.

You should no longer see that misleading speed information on PageSpeed Insights.

With this update, we also started using multiple threads of execution while loading our script. By splitting the load of the Sleeknote script into multiple parts, we now ensure that other scripts can be loaded in the meantime without being blocked.
