New Languages Added 💬

We added new languages and improved existing ones in:

  • Campaign field error messages (Example: "Your email is invalid.")
  • Countdown timer
  • Product recommendations

Currently, we support error messages in the following languages, based on the visitor's browser language: English, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, French, Haitian, Javanese, Khmer, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Kazakh.

You can read more about how error messages work and reach us at mail@sleeknote.com if you have any questions. 🤓

Tip: Switch to our new Campaign Builder to make sure you're using the latest version of our product. (Visit your Account Settings and enable beta program.)

Page Speed Improvements ⚡️

We introduced two new initiatives to improve how the Sleeknote script loads on your website and impacts your page speed.

We’ve got several reports from our customers about Google PageSpeed Insights considering the Sleeknote script as a potential issue.

Although Sleeknote shouldn't affect your page speed negatively, we found the source of the problem to be a JavaScript method we’ve been using. To fix that, we stopped using the document.write() method to load our script.

You should no longer see that misleading speed information on PageSpeed Insights.

With this update, we also started using multiple threads of execution while loading our script. By splitting the load of the Sleeknote script into multiple parts, we now ensure that other scripts can be loaded in the meantime without being blocked.

New: Organize Your Campaigns with Folders 📂

Now you can create folders on the "My Campaigns" page and organize your campaigns much more easily. 🎉

Simply select one or more campaigns and click “Create New Folder”...

...or select campaigns and add them to an existing folder:

Tip: You can use the "Bulk" column to multi-select campaigns.

If you have many campaigns, try organizing them by:

  • Language
  • Goals
  • Domains
  • Pages
  • Scheduled Campaigns
  • Inactive Campaigns
  • And much more.

If you have any feedback about folders, please reach out to us at mail@sleeknote.com.

My Campaigns Beta Page Is Now Live 🎉

We just launched a new and improved version of the "My Campaigns" page.

In addition to the complete redesign, we added new functionalities to help you get a better overview of your campaigns without leaving the page.

In your new "My Campaigns" page, you'll find:

  • Icons that show your campaigns’ product type;
  • “Trends” that tell how your campaign is performing this week compared to last week;
  • Filtering by product type, domains, status, and tags (hint: you can combine multiple filters);
  • Sorting by date, status, leads, views, conversion rates, and trends; and
  • A better search function and improved pagination.

To use the new beta version, simply click “My Campaigns Beta” on the left menu and all your campaigns will appear there.

If you have any feedback or encounter any issues, please reach out to us at mail@sleeknote.com and we'll help you out. 💙

Client Script Update

Some major improvements to the script that is running on your website.

It includes, much better performance and less load speed impact on the website it self, in some browsers up to 400% better.

Better responsiveness for mobile campaigns.

Better IE 11 support.

Better cache handeling and many more smaller updates and improvements.

Mailchimp GDPR Update 💭

When you use the option “Mark as Opted-In for GDPR” in your Mailchimp integration setup, you’ll now see a friendly warning from us. We’ll simply ask you to enable GDPR fields in your Mailchimp account to make sure that your new signups are sent to your ESP correctly.

If you’re using this option in Sleeknote, follow these steps to enable GDPR fields in your Mailchimp account.

Send More Data to Your ESP 📩

Now you can send the lead data you have in your SiteData Data Layer to your ESP with each signup. For example, you can send the basket value, the number of pages shown, time spent on the page, and so on to your ESP along with your new signups.

Simply visit the mapping step of your integration setup and use SiteData merge tags as custom fields. Submit more information to your ESP about your new signups. 😎

SiteData Input Field Merge Tags 🤓

Now you can use the visitor data you have in your SiteData Data Layer to prefill your campaign’s input fields. For example, if you already have the visitor’s first name in your SiteData storage, pre-populate the name field in your campaigns with that information, so they don’t need to spend time on that. This means a faster signup process for your visitors and higher conversions for your campaigns. 🚀

To use SiteData merge tags, click the input field you want to pre-populate and use the option called “Change Value Attribute."
