Mobile Styling Improvements 🎨

We made changes to our campaign styling logic to improve your mobile editing experience.

Now, as default:

  • Your changes to desktop campaigns will apply to mobile, but
  • Your changes to mobile campaigns won’t apply to desktop.

The new styling logic will reduce the likelihood of unintentional changes on different devices.

Adding or removing an element from your campaigns is now a global action. This means:

  • When you add an element to desktop, it will also be added to mobile;
  • When you delete an element from desktop, it will also be deleted from mobile.

We also introduced a new hiding option that lets you hide a campaign element on a specific device with one click.

When you hide elements on a device, you can easily locate and unhide them on the Layout menu.

If you need a more detailed read on these changes, check out this article our Product team prepared.

Track Clicks for Product Recommendations 👣

You can now track clicks on Sleeknote campaigns that contain product recommendations.

When a visitor clicks a button or product image in your campaigns* containing Shopify, Clerk, Hello Retail, Raptor, or Custom Product Recommendations, their action will count as a "Lead" in campaign statistics.

*excluding campaigns that collect email addresses.

Hide Prices in Product Recommendations 💵

Now you can hide product prices in Sleeknote's product recommendation element. This applies to all product recommendation types, including Clerk, Hello Retail, Raptor, Shopify, and custom recommendations.

Hiding product prices can be useful if you offer dynamic or personalized pricing on your website. With this update, you can hide price information on your product carousels and avoid sharing misleading information with your customers.

Use the option "Price Visibility" to hide product prices on any recommendation element.

[Completed] Planned Downtime for Maintenance ⏰

Update: Our team has completed the scheduled maintenance to improve Sleeknote's performance. Thanks for your patience!

Due to scheduled maintenance activity, Sleeknote will be unavailable for a brief period on Sunday, February 19, at 23:00 Central European Time.

During this time, access to the Sleeknote dashboard and campaign builder will be unavailable. Your live campaigns will be unaffected, but you won't be able to edit, disable, or activate your campaigns during this period.

We expect the maintenance to last for approximately 3 hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve Sleeknote for you. 🙌

If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach out to our support team at mail@sleeknote.com.

New Integration: Emarsys ⚙️

We now offer a direct integration with the omnichannel marketing platform, Emarsys. 🎉

With this integration, you can now send your new Sleeknote signups directly to your Emarsys account.

Read this help article to learn how to set up an integration with your Emarsys account.

Google Analytics 4 Support 📈

We've released an update to support Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which will replace Universal Analytics (UA) in July 2023.

Sleeknote now sends the following campaign events to GA4 in addition to UA:

  • Sleeknote shown (when any campaign shows)
  • New Subscriber (when a visitor submits a “Collect Email Addresses” campaign”)
  • New contact request (when a visitor submits a “Connect with Visitors” campaign)
  • Blank Click (when a visitor clicks a campaign with a CTA button)

GTM Datalayer and GA4

If you're sending events to GA4 via Google Tag Manager, make sure you've set up the connection between those two.

We send the following data to GTM Datalayer upon "Collect Email Addresses" campaign submissions, which you can customize and pass along to Google Analytics:

DataLayer.push({
  SleeknoteId: "f7736e13-1b91-41e5-8b5b-9df165efc4c0",
  SignupPage: "https://test.com/go/mypage",
  event: "SleeknoteSubscriber",
  fieldData: {
    email: "test@email.com",
    firstname: "Ron",
    checkbox-1: "checkbox",
    guid: "ce4dc4cb-3370-4cc7-8941-378556023b5a",
    SleeknoteId: "f7736e13-1b91-41e5-8b5b-9df165efc4c0",

    PageTitle: "test page name",
    UserAgent: "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like G" +
               "ecko) Chrome/107.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"
  },
  CustomerId: "12345",
})

Custom Product Recommendations 🎠

Add products to your Sleeknote product library and display them in your campaigns in a carousel format.

Custom product recommendations help you showcase relevant products in your campaigns without add-ons or third-party integrations.

Manually add products from your store, with images, links, and price information, and show them in a custom-styled product carousel.

📚 Follow our guide to learn how to use custom product recommendations in your Sleeknote campaigns.

Quizzes With Outcome Logic 🧠

With this update to Sleeknote quizzes, you can show different quiz results to each visitor based on their answers.

By setting up an outcome logic, you can use quizzes to collect more information about your new subscribers and make personalized recommendations—directly in the same campaign.

Learn more about quizzes and how you can set them up in our step-by-step guide.
